Send a video clip.
Get a bug report AI can read.
Claude Code and Cursor can't watch your screen recording. Clip.qa converts it into a structured bug report that AI coding tools actually understand — so they can write the fix.
The problem
AI builds fast.
Bugs ship faster.
63% of developers use AI coding tools daily. The speed is incredible — but QA hasn't caught up.
AI code ships 1.7x more bugs
AI-generated PRs have nearly twice the defect rate. The faster you ship, the more bugs slip through.
"Steps to reproduce: it broke"
Vague bug reports waste 84% more engineering hours. Without video and device context, devs play detective instead of coding.
SDK tools can't test everything
Traditional bug reporting SDKs only work inside your own app. You can't test competitor apps, third-party integrations, or pre-release builds.
AI can't watch your video
Claude Code and Cursor can write brilliant fixes — but they can't process screen recordings. Your QA team captures a video, then manually writes a bug report the AI can read. That's the bottleneck.
How it works
Three taps. Bug report done.
No forms. No templates. No "steps to reproduce" fields. Just record, clip, and let AI handle the rest.
Record the bug
Screen-record the bug on your phone. Tap where it breaks, narrate what happened. Clip captures everything — device info, OS version, network state, timestamps.
Clip trims the noise
Built-in editor lets you cut to the exact moment. Remove sensitive data, highlight the broken flow. Keep only what matters.
AI writes the report
One tap. Clip's AI converts your video into a structured bug report with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, and full device context. The output is formatted so Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI coding tools can understand it instantly — no manual translation needed.

Features
Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.
Built for the way developers actually work — fast, visual, and AI-native.
One-Tap Recording
Record any bug on any app right from your device. No setup, no permissions popups, no excuses.
Trim to What Matters
Clip the recording to the exact moment. Annotate, highlight, mark the broken part.
AI-Powered Reports
Instead of your QA team manually writing bug reports, Clip analyzes the recording and generates an extensive report — steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, device context, and environment details. More thorough than any human could write.
LLM-Ready Output
AI can't watch video. Clip converts your recording into structured markdown with steps to reproduce, device context, and expected vs actual behavior — ready for Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot to fix directly.
No SDK. Ever.
Most bug tools require you to embed their SDK. Clip works at the OS level. Install, record, done.
Works on Any App
Test your own app. Test a competitor's. Test a client's. If it runs on a phone, you can report bugs on it.
Impact
Better bug reports, faster fixes.
Integrations
Export anywhere. Fix everywhere.
Bug reports go where your team already works — from AI coding tools to project management.
Testimonials
Developers love shipping fixes,
not writing reports.
"We switched from Loom + Notion to Clip and cut our bug triage time in half. The AI reports are scarily accurate."
"I paste Clip reports directly into Cursor and it fixes the bug on the first try. That never happened with screenshots in Slack."
"My team used to spend 30 minutes per bug just getting the context right. Now it's under 5. Clip paid for itself in the first week."
The Autonomous QA Loop
What if Claude Code could test its own fix on a real device? Clip.qa connects to your AI coding tool via MCP, runs tests on real iOS and Android devices, and feeds structured bug reports back — automatically. The loop keeps going until every test passes.
AI calls run_tests
Claude Code or Cursor triggers Clip.qa via MCP. No manual step — your AI agent initiates the test run itself.
Tests run on real devices
Clip.qa executes tests on real iOS and Android devices using Maestro — capturing screenshots, device state, and UI hierarchy.
Bug Package returned
Failures come back as structured Bug Packages — steps to reproduce, screenshots, suspected files, and fix suggestions the LLM can act on.
AI fixes, retests
The AI reads the Bug Package, writes the fix, and calls run_tests again. The loop continues until all tests pass.
Not emulators. Not mocks. Tests run on actual iOS and Android hardware via Maestro — 3.6x faster than Appium.
Other tools send tests one way. Clip.qa sends results back to the AI as structured data it can act on. That's the loop.
Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin — or no framework at all. Provide Maestro YAML or let AI generate tests from screenshots.
Be first to try the autonomous QA loop when it launches.

FAQ
Got questions?
Do I need to install an SDK or add code to my app?
Nope. Clip works at the device level. Download the app, start recording. No code changes, no build dependencies, no engineering tickets.
What apps can I test with Clip?
Any app that runs on your phone. Your own apps, client apps, competitor apps, beta builds from TestFlight or Firebase App Distribution. If you can open it, you can Clip it.
What does "LLM-ready export" mean?
Clip formats bug reports as structured markdown and JSON that AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) can parse and act on. Paste a Clip report into your AI tool and it has full context to suggest or apply the fix.
How does the AI generate bug reports?
Clip analyzes your screen recording to identify UI state changes, error patterns, and user actions. It produces a structured report with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, and device/environment details — automatically.
Can I use Clip with my existing issue tracker?
Yes. Export to GitHub Issues, Linear, Jira, or any tool that accepts markdown. Direct integrations for the major platforms are included in Pro and Teams plans.
Is my data safe?
Recordings are processed on-device where possible and encrypted in transit. We don't store your recordings longer than needed for report generation. Full details in our privacy policy.
What happens when my free reports run out?
You can still record and edit, but generating AI reports pauses until the next month or until you upgrade to Pro. No pressure, no dark patterns. Your choice.
