Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Clip ("the App") or visiting clip.qa ("the Website"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Simple.

2. What Clip Is

Clip is a mobile application that helps you record, edit, and generate AI-powered bug reports from screen recordings. The service includes the mobile app, this website, and any related tools or integrations we provide.

3. Your Account

You don't need an account to use Clip's free features. If you create an account for Pro or Teams features:

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure
• You must provide accurate information
• You must be at least 13 years old
• One person per account — no sharing credentials

4. What You Can Do

• Use Clip to record bugs on any app on your device
• Edit recordings, generate AI reports, and export them
• Share bug reports with your team or integrate with project management tools

5. What You Can't Do

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
• Use the service to violate any law or regulation
• Record, distribute, or share content that you don't have the right to capture
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Use automated means to access the service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission

6. Your Content

You own your recordings, bug reports, and all content you create with Clip. We don't claim any ownership over your content. We don't use your content to train AI models.

By using the AI report generation feature, you grant us a limited license to process your recording for the sole purpose of generating the bug report. This processing is ephemeral — we don't retain your content after the report is generated.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

Free tier: 3 AI bug reports per month, no payment required.

Pro and Teams plans are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage subscriptions in your device's Settings.

Refunds are handled through Apple according to their refund policies.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Clip available and functional, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We'll try to give reasonable notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

Clip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using Clip at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice when practical.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
